S'Paules & s'Seppls Haus – Fiss museum
S'Paules & S'Seppls Haus – Fiss Museum
Dominating the old village centre of Fiss, a community of 1000 inhabitants, this stately Oberinntal farmhouse features a large arched gateway, tiny windows and an ornate roof construction. Like many farms in this region, it was divided up until it was abandoned a few decades ago. The team of architects from HG MERZ in Stuttgart (Mercedes-Benz Museum), with careful interventions, created a 'new' museum that documents the varied history of the building and the lives of its inhabitants.
